The Art Car IPA name was inspired by the fleet of hand-painted Art Cars created by local artists for Saint Arnold. The label artwork was designed by renowned Houston graffiti artist GONZO247, who has painted four Saint Arnold Art Cars.

This is an American IPA that was created in a contest between the brewers at Saint Arnold.   From the can it pours light hazy copper orange with a medium, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has lots of grapefruit, bergamot, mango, soft doughy malts. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, light crystal maltiness, grapefruit. Quite bitter with quite some bergamot notes.

With all the tropical flavors and aromas going on here, this strikes me as a summer beer. Perfect for all of those hot Texas afternoons when you have been outside working or working just wishing you were outside.  This is a burger or BBQ kinda beer.

By the Numbers:
